I've got that pale, pale skin that redheads have, my hair is blonde but with red tones in it. I don't just burn, I crisp. I get sunburns so bad, I blister.:eek:
I found out the hard way that sunburn lotion has an expiration date. Do not use old lotion, you will regret it! Get new stuff every year, throw out the old stuff. I found out by using some old stuff one spring morning. The sunburn on my face was spectacular, and it blistered so nicely...:mad:
I have not managed to burn the back of my knees, but did manage to burn the tips of my ears, the tops of my feet, and my hands. For work, I have to wear steel toe shoes. Putting on shoes over sunburn is painful too....:eek::(

Seriously, it's the worst part. If I'm standing for a while it hurts like hell to bend my knees to sit down. If I'm sitting for a while it hurts like hell to straighten my knees and stand up.

I burnt just the tops of my feet when I was in Panama as a teenager on a Mission trip. I had no swim trunks and waded in the surf on one of the San Blas Islands for no more than an hour wearing jeans and a t.
Yeah, it was fun putting those boots back on a day later...
