There is a pond where I work, that is where our assigned smoking area is. Ok, this is a dumb question but here goes. How do ducks mate? I observed a male duck on a female - looked like he was trying to drown her - but then - hmmmm - wondered if they were - well ya know. Ok, I said it was a dumb question, but there must be a duck hunter in the crowd for an answer.

Apparently it is just like most other animals. The male gets on top and they do their business. They aren't into foreplay at all, 'cuz I guess it doesn't last very long.

I asked one of the guys I work with who is an avid duck hunter. He said " I don't know how they do it but am glad they do it so I can keep on killing them!"

Wow...I personally wouldn't kill one but the Ducks Unlimited banquents rock! I hope I win a gun next year. I got screwed out of my vaccuum this year.
The second thing I have learned today...How ducks mate! Crazy...
