We were busy last night with our sobriety checkpoint ( 3 DUI's) and other assorted stuff. Than worked from 2300-0700. Certainly to some, Thanksgiving is but one more reason to go get drunk.
Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving. I got up in time for turkey breakfast.

Yes on my way home from my sister's I had to pass a car that was weaving in & out of their lane. I wish I'd had a car phone to report them!!!

Woke up first thing this morning and started my baking. I was responsible for the Tandy Cakes, potato salad, and deviled eggs. My potato salad kicks butt, by the way. ;)
We were invited to a friend's house (the family of Batman's old partner from the city). We have spent most of our southern holidays with this particular family. Dinner was at 1pm, we were there by 12:45 and out of there before 4. It was nice, but not very holiday-ish. We are kinda homesick as we haven't fully settled in yet. *sigh*
The girls and I came home and Batman went out with his old partner on a ride-along. Brat!
I have been surfing the web and such, chatting with family and occasionally taking calls from well-wishers. The girls are totally absorbed by their newfound fame (being the new kids on the block). If any more boys drive by in a golf cart, a quad, motorized scooter, or any other mechanized means of transportation and honks the flippin' horn?!?!?!?! IT'S ON!!!!!!
Other than that....it's been pretty uneventful.
