speaking of. I just bought tonight but will not be playing tonight. COD 4 and the Rock Band Special edition. It comes with the drums, microphone, and the guitar. I never played those guitar games so it'll be a new experience for me.

Guitar and Microphone are wicked easy. Guitar is even easier than Guitar Hero. Drums on the other hand...I can't get through the first easy song.

There are a ton of downloadable songs you can get for the game too. Typically they release 3 a week. Unfortunately, they aren't free.

I've always been a good drummer throughout school and such, I'll see if I can still play a beat. :D



Hey I just saw something I may not like. Is it true you CAN NOT use xbox live to play with other people, you 'have' to be linked by a LAN?

Hey I just saw something I may not like. Is it true you CAN NOT use xbox live to play with other people, you 'have' to be linked by a LAN?

I haven't tried to play it multiplayer (other than with people in the same room hooked to the same xbox). According to the game's wiki:

"Band World Tour" is the game's primary multiplayer mode. It allows any combination of 2-4 local players to create a virtual band, play gigs, and tour a virtual representation of the world. Although online play is not supported for Band World Tour, players can use the "Band Quickplay" mode to play together as a band online;[27] furthermore, Harmonix is attempting to resolve technical issues to allow Band World Tour to be played online.

There are also apparently battle style head-to-head games that can be played on XBL.

I agree that the guitar is waaaayyy easier than Guitar Hero. It just seems more forgiving. Drums were pretty easy for me (at least through medium level) but I played the drums for quite a few years. If you can beat the drums on the harder levels you can pretty much play them in real life.
