I assume it is to do with CF and from what I read I assume one of your children have been diagnosed.

As a new father you have my full support and when I can I will see if it will accept a donation from Oz.

Managed to get on the site.

I had a friend back in my teens that had a cousin with CF. In those days it was a given that he would be lucky to see his 20's.

I saw a family photo of that friend on facebook recently and saw him sitting there, married with a child, and I would guess he is now about 40 and looking quite healthy.

The advances in medicine have come a long way and I am sure that Nolan will live a healthy and happy life.

P.S. I have sent an email to the site to enquire how to donate as I had some problems filling out the form not being on your side of the pond.

Thank you to everyone who helped out last year. We smoked our goals and are trying to to the same this year. Check out my page for the updates. My son is a year and a half now and is doing great. We had two brief hospital stays in 08 for IV therapy and some tube feedings and a central line for antibiotics, but he's been off the antibiotics since September :D

Thank you again and I know that things are tight, but any help that we can get goes a long way. Take a minute to learn about CF and educate someone, sign up to walk in your area and raise some money or skip a big mac and hook up a kid, it may be mine. Just giving this thread a bump.

I will be donating as this disease hit a dear girlfriend of mine. She compares it to drowning and not being able to expel the fluid.

Even though many of us are suffering from donor fatigue and budgetary requirements, it's not too difficult to find that 5 or 10 bucks that, in time, will add up to make an impact and improve the quality of a young life.
