What about the ceiling? Someone (if so inclined) could come through the square vent in the peak of our house and then into the attic on both sides of the house. One side is my sons room, the other my daughters....oh crap.
THANKS A LOT SCRUIT!!! :p

I checked the closets and master bathroom before retiring. If someone jumped out of the closet while I was checking the closet and had the shotgun then I'd prolly be so freaked out I'd pull the trigger - whoops!
UNDER THE BED......IT/HE/SHE.....IS UNDER THE BED!!!!

It is pursuing a goal despite fear.
Sounds like you need some electric fencing ans property permiter lasers to detect intruders.
Some of the remote areas of Edwards AFB in the California desert use point to point infrared lasers instead of fences at their perimeters.
In time we hate that which we often fear.
Visit nwham.com for accurate Ham Repeater information.
Or how about taking some inspiration from Congo? Set up tripods at each corner of your house with full-auto canons and laser sensors/guidance...:D
Howitzer on the roof, baby!!
Yup, a laser perimiter would do nothing but remind me how many deer cross through my property at night... :D
The laser would look eerie when the fog set in...
JackD,
So if you you went downstairs to investigate a suspicious noie would you take a gun? Or do you leave all your toys at the cop shop?
A golf club might work, or an umbrella. Maybe even a baseball bat...
But nothing says; "F*CK OFF" quite as effectively as a Pistol-Grip Mossberg 500 12ga with fiberoptic scope, tac light and tube full of buckshot. :D
Me?? I have to leave all my toys at work. Besides I send the second in command out to investigate `things that go bump in the night`....and she can be REAL scary.
What about one of those motion sensor gun thingies, like what is on ALIENS???? You could have one on the stairs, one each on back door and front door and a couple in the garden.

Yeah, on Aliens they had the motion tracking tripod-mounted machine guns... That would be cool... :D
Even better would be a gattling gun, or depleted uranium rounds...
