Since last year. I was in a law class, and decided I wanted to become a lawyer. Found out I couldn't get into University, and then decided to become a police officer. I can't believe I didn't make the decision prior to that because it is now so obviously what I want to be doing.

I bumped into a USMS recruitor at a job fair halfway through my senior year of college. I busted her chops for a while, waiting for a buddy to finish up. Well, I applied on a whim. As I went through the process I wanted it more and more. I guess I just needed a little shove to recognize the calling.

Since 1994 I flirted with it as a Reserve Police Officer and MP. For some reason it just keeps calling. Looking back at all of my jobs I realized I was happiest in Law Enforcement. Now I'm finally going for it.
