Woman calls Police for BBQ sauce

Customer Dials 9-1-1 Over Fast Food Charge
Police in Avon, Ohio, responded to a 9-1-1 call at a McDonald’s restaurant. The emergency was a customer being charged for extra sauce with her meal.


Customer Lula Brown asked for extra barbecue sauce with her order and was upset when she found out it would not be included for free.


“I spent almost $10 on food and I wanted some sauce,” Brown says. “I was told I would have to pay extra for sauce. It’s not a store policy. It’s not in writing and I don’t feel I should pay extra for any sauce unless it is store policy and they show it to me.”


Although police did respond, they could not solve Brown’s problem. She was disappointed with their service.


Brown was not charged for tying up the only 9-1-1 line in the area.


The cost of extra sauce is now clearly posted in the Avon restaurant.

I had a call once were a party of 13 came to the pizza hut and ate, after the meal they refused to pay the $4.80 in added gratuity for parties of eight or more. I tried to explain that the rule was clearly stated in the menu,her defense was that they had a coupon and did not order from the menu. Fed up with matter I simply placed my cuffs on the table as a reminder that its five bucks or a free ride

LMAO - when I was a weeeeeee 16 years of age, I had my first job as a Nurse Aide at a local hospital on the medical floor. One of our elderly patients expired and the RN told me to stay in the room because she couldn't contact the family and was pretty sure they were on the way to the hosp. I, of course, didn't know about all those muscle contractions that can happen after death. She had closed his eyes, left the room, then YUP - one of em popped open..............I ran down the hall to tell her "he's alive" - then she sat me down and gave me a little education - LOL - I still remember it to this day.
