I have heard that recently there was a big court case involving carrying firearms openly or concealed, and there have been marches in Cincinatti with hundreds of people carrying openly.
I've looked up case information on the net but it's all in legal gibberish.
Can someone explain this all? Does that mean that open carry in Ohio is now legal?

Open carry is the only legal way for a non LEO to carry a firearm in Ohio according to the Ohio supreme court. They have no provisions for CCW in state law. OHIO SUCKS.
The sad part is, when you enter your vehicle you have to unload your weapon because a loaded weapon in you car is a concealed weapon.OHIO SUCKS.
Did I mention that OHIO SUCKS?

It's legal to open carry in Oregon. It's legal to open carry in Portland as long as the gun is unloaded. Go figure.

Exactly. But I don't think they could regulate that. It's just a chunk of metal, so they couldn't. They just wanted the weapon to be useless.

It is fairly easy to get a concealed weapons permit in Oregon. Pretty much anyone who can legally own a pistol can get a concealed weapons permit.

Michigan it is legal to open carry. That being said, no town, city, county or township can have a no open carry ordience. a few people in Port Huron gpt arrested for disturbing the peace while having a gun in plain sight. The judge tossed it out saying, it is legal and as long as the person isn't stupid in carrying it and is legal to own onethen there is no disturbance problem.

Pa CCW isn't hard to get and now we have reciprocity with several other states.
