YYYEEESSS!!!!!! the Tampa Bay Lightning finally beat the Washington Caps at 4:03 into the 3rd overtime. Came back from 2 down in the series and 1 goal down in the 3rd period, and $H!TTY officiating!!!!!!!!

Nothin gainst the lightnin though, just pullin for my Caps. Course the caps don't really have the offense to go anywhere much in the playoffs anyway, but it was nice while it lasted.

i have to be a fan of them bc they are my hometown team - and ive put time and effort into this team - and i worked for them(i should hate them for the way they let me go, but what can you do... they dont call it show friends they call it show business)

Way to go Lightning! I'm a Penguins fan so therefor I hate the Caps! Why you ask? Because of Jagr(the ***). I can't stand Jaromir Jagr. I started not liking him when he was stil a Penguin. He is your typical European player in that he has no heart when the tough gets going. When it's crunch time he doesn't step up.

Yea, those Europeans are always afraid of fighting (France, Germany, etc) well of course that excludes the British, but anyway this is not a political thread and that was meant to be a joke anyway!:D Of course when you need someone to show you how real hockey is played you'll have to get a Canadian.;)

Yeah to a degree you're right. It's your national past time (or is it curling?) and like baseball is our national past time.

take it easy on the lacrosse - i would be playing it except down here in fl. there isnt much of a market for it.

Its not real big where Im from but there are several colleges in my town that have good lacrosse teams. I've seen maybe 1 game. It scared me. I wont ever play that game!:D
