This is not a courtroom, and we are not a jury, so your comment is inapplicable here.

There is nothing wrong with people discussing our thoughts and opinions on a case like this, especially those of us who have and do routinely investigate crimes and have learned to observe physical and emotional clues of people surrounding investigations and form conclusions.

If LEO's and Prosecutors had that attitude, they would not zealously pursue carges of those "not yet proven guilty".

So, :rolleyes: right back at ya!

There is a lot of information that we are not privy too. There is speculation that Scott may have been involved, but that is the only evidence that has been presented to the general public is through the media. Prior to the Iraq war, the Media was camped out in front of Scott Peterson's house and business 24/7 hounding the man constantly. When he initially didn't talk about the incident, the media rose suspecion based soley on conjecture. When he did talk, the media rose suspecion again totally on conjecture. Under simular cir***stances, I think I would have moved away too.

Did he do it? None of us know. Obviously the Modesto PD doesn't know or they would have arrested him.

To label someone as guilty without first hand knowledge of the evidence, totally goes against the concept of justice, something that all police officers swear to uphold and defend.

So you have not formed an opinion Zander? I know you are too smart to not have an opinion. Whether it is informed or not is another matter.

For me to label him guilty has nothing to do with justice. If anyone does not understand that, it means then they have a lack of understanding of just what, "Innocent until proven guilty" means.

It is sad, the loss of the young lady and the unborn baby.
Seems a pretty good chance the bodies found are them.

Sad for the family, any hope they may have held on to that at least the baby may have been alive are likely to be at a end.

It will mean closure for them, but the end of hope as well.
Such a loss, those poor ppl........esp the grand parents looking so forward to that grand baby........just unreal.

My sister in law doesn't think he did it. But then she also thinks the Ramsey's are innocent as well.........oh well.
I think part of that though is that doing something so horrible to someone else is so inconceivable.

I do think the slim ball did kill his wife, at the very least he seems to have motive for doing so.
And I think his "fishing trip" was his way to dump the body of his wife and unborn child.
Thinking they would never be found.

Considering the ocean it is almost a miracle that the remains did wash up.........not to offend anyone but animals live there too.

As far as I had heard he had disappeared into mexico and had not returned..........has anyone heard otherwise ?

CNN is reporting that the torso of the woman and baby have been identified as Laci and her baby.

That is very sad news. But I kinda expected that it was them when I heard they found bodies. If he did do it I hope that they give him the death penalty but you know how Cali is.:rolleyes: He is one sick focker!
