Northern Lights picture

Great Pictures Mora. I wish I could move up there...will you marry me? Then I can leave my city loving wife and move to the middle of nowhere and play with my pet polar bear and watch the Northern Lights every night (well, I guess that far north it could be the middle of day and still see them :D )

OK, if you're wife won't mind. :D But you can't watch the Lights every night. Pretty soon now it won't get dark enough to see them. When we get 22 hours of daylight, it never gets really dark. Can't even see the stars all summer.

Cool, I can leave you and go back to my first wife in the summer then leave her and bounce back to you in the winter. It's like being a REAL snow bunny :p

No, Polar bears are marine mammals. They eat seals and stuff.

I thought they liked to munch on City folk that wandered off in the night looking at stuff.....? :D

Lest anyone forget in the rush to swoop up there, she may have Northern Lights there but she has no running water and the bathroom is this little shack about 50 feet from the house. :D

Of course I don't mind, I'm flattered that everyone likes them so much. I wish you could all see the real thing. They move, which some people don't realize. They fade and get brighter and they swirl and whip around the sky or kind of lazily flow around in it. Very neat to watch.
