Our newspaper says that Catfish Licking is a new high. It is supposed to cause a halucogenic "trip"

My 7th grade science teacher told us that licking between the legs of a frog will cause hallucinations. He was a perv anyways, so we didn't think much of it. But, I do want to know why somebody would lick in between a frogs legs in the first place.

The toad licking thing is big in Northern California. There is a poisonous frog up there. You squeeze the frog, and the poison secretes out the skin.

Supposedly ingesting the liquid goop causes hallucinations.

I think the whole idea is to get the dumbass to pick up the catfish. Then the catfish stabs them with his razor sharp fin and they drop it. Lesson learned. Catfish are mean little fish. They deserved to be cooked.

Hmmm.... Catfish.... tastes... like.... FISH!!!!!

Ok, I just had to do that... It's late and the bed is calling my name!!

I still can't figure out why pople waste the time catching and cleaning the darn things. There aint that much mean on them and the taste aint that good. My wife and her mom cooked up some bullhead (catfish) and I was not impressed. Give me a sunfish, bass, walley, tuna, northern, salmon or any good fish and I'm happy!

I don't like fish at all but a catfish is a little sweeter, less fishy tasting than some of the other fish. Like Ranger said, there isn't much meat. Catfish are really boney and there is only a small fillet but it's a delicacy around here.

Wombat, if you ever want to try them, I'll get a friend of mine who owns a seafood store to send you some. They are much better fresh though.
