well, City, I know you are the big, tough guy and all, but you are at a distinct disadvantage when up against a car! ;) Sure hope you are feeling better soon! I'd tell you to take it easy ........... but I know better. ;)

glad you're ok. take everyones advise and don't mess around with an injured knee. I found out the hard way, and 8 knee surgeries with more to come, I'm on disability. good luck !

I can....three times...number 1.. point duty after a christmas pagent..guy tried to drive straight thru me..bumper hit me across knees, I landed on the hood... I smashed my torch into his hood left him with a dented hood and me with bruises... i finnished my shift out...

I finnished the shift and charged the dude with, fail to obey, leave scene of accident, no MDL.... :D
Made it all worth while really!

OK - quick follow up, since I know so many of you have been sitting around your homes, gnawing your nails to the quick in breathless concern.....
Saw the doctor yesterday. X-rays and the like, he said everything looked and felt fine. He suspects I have a deep bruise to the quad and some bruising and/or strecthing in my petellar tendon. I got some horse-pill ibuprofens for the swelling in the tendon, with a recipe of ice and heat alternating to pump blood into and out of the area. Light exercise when I feel like it, resume my regular activities in about a week.
So you can all sleep tonight :D

Glad to see your ok bro. I got hit this year while writing a ticket by some ******* that thought it was funny to hit me with his mirror on his vehicle. I believe I posted it on here. They he decided to run but he eventually got caught. My back was jacked for a week or so.
