    questions of becoming a p/o

    Hi all. I just recently moved to the charlotte area goin on 2 years now. Im thinking of getting into the law enforcement field but as a probation officer does anyone have any information of the couse study. thx.

    Most Probation and Parole Officers need a bachelor's degree from an accredited school.

    Any position in Law Enforcement will require above average ability in written communication. Start practicing that now; it will be invaluable later.

    does the degree have to be in Criminal Justice?

    ok, i have a couple of misdemeanors (non violent)on my record all are more than three years old now. when i finish school they will be 7 years old. Will they affect me from getting a job as a probation officer
