    Question police officer exam 1302

    Googled some information regarding the nypd exam list number process...obviously i haven't received any information via mail or e-mail... I've been reading posts on this forum, and decided to join today..

    i've got a few questions, i didn't know that "good" or "bad" credit had influence on weather or not your list number would be picked for consideration towards joining the nypd. Whats the criteria exactly? does anyone know? i've been late on a few student loan payments, and reluctantly had my vehicle repossessed due to loss of employment last year... i'm back on track.. but i'm just curious to know if this would have impacted a decision being made in my favor.

    my list number is high 221X, not trying to create any excuses but my mouth was wired shut for the walk in exam date. i passed, barely.. but this was due to liquid diet at the time.

    my girlfriend scored a 97% and her list number for the same exam is 32X ... her credit is great, but she hasn't heard anything back yet either. what are our chances?

    I took the same exam and haven't heard back yet either although I am fairly certain we will sometime in 2012- at least in terms of getting the process started- medical, psychological, etc. I only got a 76 on the test but I know someone who checked for me and said I will definitly hear back sometime in 2012. As for the high list number I dont think its a big deal because they take so many people in a class anyway- that being said your girlfriend who scored a 97 will definitly be in a class before us or at least the same class.

    I never heard anything about credit being considered but thats probably something you discuss and explain to them- honestly it doesn't sound like a big deal- just gotta pass that medical and make sure your background check is clean and I'm sure your fine.

    I had to fill out APD5 questioner online. Submited 02.19.2012
