    Greetings from Afghanistan.

    Good evening ladies and gents.

I am a 20 year old Marine, stationed in Camp Pendleton, California. I am with Combat Logistics Batallion-1. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan. I am a 3533 Motor Transport Operator. (I drive grunts/supplies around in big armored trucks).

I'm on this forum because I am interested in becoming a Police Officer. I'm thinking about taking some college classes when I get back in the states. And eventually getting a degree once I EAS out of the Corps.

Just wanted to give myself an introduction to you all. Been leaching on this forum for about a week, seems like a great bunch of professionals we have here.

Anyways, have a good day or night. Where ever you may reside.

    Semper Fi

    PS.
If anyone has any questions about the Corps, I am willing to answer. No BS here. Not a recruiter by any means.

Could you help me setting a debate I've had with some former Army enlisted coworkers. I've been telling them that "Army" is an acronym that actually means Ain't Ready for the Marines Yet, isn't that true?

    Welcome aboard, Marine.
