Had to put that out there, sorry folks! My name is Andrew, and I am currently 19yrs. old, turning 20yrs. this March. As of now, I'm enrolled in NWCCC's (Northwestern Connecticut Community College) Criminal Justice program, hoping to at least obtain a Bachelor's, even perhaps going further. As well, I am currently unemployed, but have been grafted into the Red Cross Disaster Response Unit; having been to the orientation & taking a few RC Classes, I hope that such Volunteer work (and many other examples of volunteering) will be of aid in the future; not only to better my community, but to develop skills & character that I'll certainly need!
My main aspiration is to enlist with the Connecticut State Police upon turning 21, although the likelihood of CSP opening up positions seems unlikely in the very near future. The reasons behind my hopes of enlisting with the CSP cannot be counted on one hand; but mainly that the fine men & women of the CSP saved not only the lives of my two sisters & my mother, but my own as well from my biological father. If it weren't for those two Troopers some ten years ago, I wouldn't be posting on this forum today. I'm eternally grateful for the services these men & women provide for our state, and at the very least, someday I hope to be part of the moral standard Law Enforcement sets for all young men & women out there! To be held to such standards, is a true honor.
I take every mistake I make as a learning experience, no matter how frustrating they can be. If I say something poorly, feel free to whack me with the criticism stick a few times! I'm here to learn afterall!
