I'm a motor officer from the Southeast, looking for a place to shoot the bull with some other officers from around the country. I'm always interested in how law enforcement is so much different in different regions, yet so much the same.
I've been on several law enforcement forums in the past, but none verified the LE status of their members, I'm interested in seeing how that works. I ended up leaving those other forums because there were too many wannabes.

I have a buddy that does training for CBP at the FLETC facility in Charleston. They've renovated it since you were here, but the whole thing used to be a huge Navy base. Originally Posted by Kimble

McNulty, Welcome to RP from the Florida Panhandle! Further south, but somewhat West of you.
As for FLETC, it seems they possibly didn't answer your question. FLETC = Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, where almost all (or possibly all) Fed's are trained.
For what it's worth, here's a sort of "decoder ring" that one of the mods made up some time ago listing a bunch of crazy acronyms you might see here.
Common Federal Acronyms
** Edit ** I was just informed I may have completely misunderstood the OP's reference to FLETC! I blame lack of sleep, just getting off shift, not having gone to bed yet, all the above! Either way, it was a learning experience for me, 'cause I got the answer right without having to look it up, and was able to find that crazy acronym thread again!
