My name is Richard and I'm a filmmaker from Los Angeles. I joined because I'm writing a screenplay about a crime and would like to get some info from actual law enforcement personnel.

I've been working in the film industry for 7 years. I'm actually currently in post-production.

I picked up an interest in writing and I have an idea that deals the law, which is why I joined this forum. Seems very resourceful.

Not yet. I'm gonna be going to school to study Administration of Justice next semester and after that, its LAPD for me.
7 years? Impressive. Ever heard of Cinemaestro? They were the guys who made the very first portable telecine machine. My dad was the founder of that. He was pretty well known around the industry back when we lived in Los Angeles so I pretty much grew up around the film industry as a kid.
