Hi everyone! Have to say this is a great forum for Law Enforcement! & other related professions. Been reading for the last 3 hours lol
Im taking my Associates for Forensic Science. I'll finish in 2014 if all goes well. Have always wanted to be some kind of LEO but Im not "tough" enough so I took the Geeky form of police work lol But for now am trying to land a job as a correction officer. Wish me Luck! & Good Luck to all those who are trying to get into the LEO career field

We had a saying in Army Recruiting a few years back..."Not everyone wants to drive a Leopard Tank".
It takes more than just a tank to win a war. It's a team effort.
And thanks for knowing your limits too. Too many numb skulls join this job and then find out that they aren't suited to it because they "didn't know they would have to carry a gun" or get in fights or talk harshly to people. At least you are aware of your skills and attributes.
I would have like to have been a jockey but at 6'2" that aint gonna happen....actually I have no interest in being a jockey, but I use that to make a point.
