I persuaded her to report it at the office and great anger inside to the kid, her and to the rapist as if I wanted to kill someone. The kid because I do not approve of her keeping a raped baby, which I have to live with if i want a future with her, I do not want to live with a baby that is not mine.

I think common sense would involve clearer wording on your behalf if you were trying to indicate that you were angry at the baby rather than that you wanted to kill the baby.

Either way, being angry at a baby who had absolutely no control over the situation? You should probably take your own advice and use "some kind of common sense."

Cases do not work at your speed, nor is real life a television episode. Where cases are solved in 40 minutes.

So whatever. After all that she finally decided to report it, I took her to the station and she did. Police and detective came to house and interrogated the mother at her house. The detective and he opened the case. He was arrested previously so they have a record of him and his finger print. now this case has been taking forever, I suspect the detective is being lazy or is just too busy. Everytime we call he just says if you have more information give it to us, OR that "im still working on it, we are looking" its been like months now and he kept saying the same thing, no proper updates. he goes on vacation regularly. Is this detective doing the right thing? he dosn't even call to give updates we always have to call him. Is there anyway we can give this case to someone else or what is going on is this normal in the detective field? can we at least give the case to the US marshal fugitive task force here in NY?
