I saw in one of your other threads that you are a BMW mechanic. You should stick by that, you'll have plenty of work, talk about expensive junk on wheels.

Probably a MUCH safer job too.... my ding dong of a BIL traded his BMW last year for a Mazda! not sure which Mazda but it was a sportscar type maybe a Rx8?

We do have our problems but so does every other manufacturer. I like to think of it as job security. I just think it time to get out for me. I have lost interest in it. Do you have one?

Nope I would be disowned if I did. I used to work at a used car dealer so I was able to drive all kinds of cars. German cars were at the bottom of my list for sure. Not sure where they got the reputation of being so great. I'll agree though, they all have issues, especially the new ones. The more complex cars get the worse they get it seems.

I also have had some influence from my dad who worked at a GM dealer (Oldsmobile) for 25+ years until they went to Ford and he opened his own shop about 15 years ago where he now works on all models. He also hates German cars.

Just give me a key and a gas pedal and brakes and i'm good.... My sister drives this fancy Honda acura the one with the pushbutton start engine/ the built in car phone and the one with the whole dash board is a GPS I always feel like I'm riding in knight Riders car when i'm riding with her and it's black too...

I will stick to my Saturn....They are the best cars ever...
