Hello all. Name is Matt. I am NOT a LEO, but I am going to be sworn in as a reserve sheriff deputy tomorrow night. Really looking forward to it. It is something I have wanted to do for 8-9 years now.
I am actually a network administrator for a school. Anyway, just wanted to say hi.

maddog, Welcome to RP from the Florida Panhandle! Glad you found our site and became both a member AND a supporting member! Sounds like you're pretty excited about your new part-time deal, and you should be. This is a great job, and even tho many of us SAY we'd do it for free, you actually will be!
Congrat's to you on accomplishing your goal and stick around, let us know how it's going. Tons of great info here on the boards, and lots of really great people, so dig right in and really explore the space!

I was sworn in Friday. I am so excited to get started. This week Saturday our county fair starts, and even though we can't really do much other then sit in the command center, it is going to be fun.
