I just joined.

I suppose I could begin by explaining the screen name. I am a big fan of the Harry Potter novels, and in between the release of the sixth and seventh books I joined a large online forum. The name is a word play that uses the name of one of the prominent characters, and I've liked the name ever since.

As the Harry Potter reference may imply, I am young, though old enough to have graduated from college now (and not only am I old enough, I have accomplished said feat--whew).

I have never really had an ambition to be a law enforcement officer, but I have tremendous respect for those who risk life and limb to preserve peace and prevent lawlessness. To all those who seek to execute your responsibilities in a thorough and honorable manner--thank you.
