Hello,
I came across this forum and was intrigued so I decided to join. My name is Kristin, i'm 21 from Michigan. I currently have an associate's degree in criminal justice and am working on my bachelor's in criminology as we speak. My interest in law enforcement started with my grandfather who became the sheriff of our local police station a while back. He is since retired. I would like to become a police officer at some point in my future. My main goal was that there are so many people in the world who just waste their lives away - I want to be one of them who actually makes a difference! I also enjoyed the idea of not having to sit behind a desk. I want to be outside. I want to go places and see things, and overcome my problems. If that doesn't happen my second career choice is a correction's officer. I am also open to exploring other career options as well, but I do enjoy criminal justice. I am also an animal lover and hoped to work with the K-9 unit on a police department. I guess we will see how it all goes. Thanks for reading guys
