Im a Aussie shelia from Adelaide South Australia, but now living in Scotland
been recommended to the site by a great friend after having a chat about some social issues, that have been raised in the local community
not sure what to say now - not usually stuck for words but a little bit about me is Im a qualified counsellor with grief and loss qualifications and im currently studying slowly abuse counselling as well
moved from aust to scotland about 2 years ago and loving the hospitality of the scottish. though miss chicko rolls, dim sims and tim tams right now
hope all is well with everyone and I hope my first post was ok

Bugger the Tim Tams and Chikos...one of the best advancements in Australian history is that even in my little town in QLD I can now buy a Farmers Union Iced Coffee!!!! YEAH BABY. Had one yesterday with my lunch.
I was in SAPOL for a few years (Murray Bridge and Millicent) then went to Canberra for a couple of years with Feds and now in QLD.

Here is a good day. Start by having a nice walk along the beach. Maybe at Henley or Brighton. Not Glenelg though, too many idiots.
Then head into Rundle Mall to walk past the big balls. Find a bakery and have some morning tea. Maybe a Balfours pastie and a green frog cake. Wash it down with a Farmers Union Iced Coffee.
Then it is off to the Torrens for a ride on Popeye or even one of those paddle boats. Remembering not to touch the rancid filthy water and contract some disease from all the bird crap in it.
Then in the afternoon I would probably find myself in one of a million pubs somewhere near Rundle Street knocking back pints of Coopers.
