Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm from NE PA, around the Canton area. I worked 15 years in the Pike County area (border of PA, NY, and NJ) as a (now that I been verified, and am posting my required 10 posts) State Trooper, and then transferred to Bradford County, where I worked in our crime room as an investigator for the remainder of my career.
The "Grog" is a nicname I was given many moons ago, and although I enjoy my German brews too, it was more for the habit I had of whacking things with a large stick, as in the B.C. comics. Usually whacked snakes and other things that wondered in our trenchline at night. (US Army, Guardpost Collier, DMZ MP, ROK, 1986)
Now that I'm retired, I spend a lot of time in my workshop, building custom ARs, and other sorts of nasties that require Form 1s. I also am a munitions designer, and registered Government contractor, doing R&D in the 37/40mm field.
Sorry for the short intro earlier, but the wife was trying to drag me out shopping yet again, to blow more of my pension.
