    Hopeful (Chesterfield County) Recruit in VA

    I've been lurking on this forum and some others that are similar for a few days now. I am currently applying at several depts.
    • Chesterfield Police : Applied 02/29/2009 - Testing 03/20/2009
    • Richmond City Police : Applied 02/27/2009 - no further info
    • Hanover County Sheriff : Applied 03/01/2009 - no further info
    • Virginia State Police: Applied 03/15/2009 - Letter received telling me test date will follow in the mail

    Anyone on the forums with any of the above dept.'s that would care to give me any advice, it would be much appreciated.

    anyways, just wanted to make my Newbie Appearance here!

    Well, I did my Physical Agility Test and the Written Exam for Chesterfield County earlier this month. Passed both with flying colors. Got my letter to confirm that yesterday. Now I just have to button up my 36 pg. background report packet and turn it in by 04/06/09. Hopefully I get an interview in May.
    Richmond is now on hiring freeze

    Hanover County called to tell me they will be testing in July. (geez)

    State Trooper has my app and sent confirmation letter. Just waiting for test.

    Thanks Pookie44 :D, I was beginning to wonder if people just don't care about the newbie introduction forums around here, other sites I've been on go nuts if you don't introduce yourself in the first post, so I finally make sure to do it here and it took 13 days for anyone to care.
