Hello everyone,
I have been reading this forum for some time, and have posted a few times, so I wanted to introduce myself before posting anymore.
As the title states, my name is William and I have almost completed the hiring process for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office in Tampa FL. Throughout my process this site has been my "go to" for great information and has answered quite a few things for me.
All I have left now is the oral board review, and my BI is confident I will make it to the April 09 academy.

I'm looking for Drug/Narcotic Unit patches together with DUI/DWI unit patches for a frame in our Anti-Drug-Team bureau

I also lived in Tampa and went through the PASS process of Pinellas County and applied to the Hillsborough SO. Unfortunately, at that time, nobody was hiring. As an out of state applicant, I sure as heck didnt have $8,200 to throw away on the academy. Good luck to you though, and once again, welcome.

Sounds like you may have heard of the 2 week boot camp before academy! :eek:
Hey Ver1tasA3quitas,
I know it can be quite expensive if you do it on your own for sure. Fortunately right now Hillsborough Co. fully sponsers the academy if hired, and pay starts in academy as well. I can't complain about that!
