I've been browsing this site for the last couple of days and thought I should finally register and introduce myself. I'm currently a stay-at-home mother, law enforcement hopeful from Oregon. I'm 27 and married with two wonderful children. The youngest is just starting school, so I'm hoping to start my career. This has presented some challenges naturally, as I really don't have much of a resume other than my education.
As I said, I hope to start a career in law enforcement and have begun the process by submitting applications to a couple county police departments, as well as the state troopers (scheduled for testing in February). I'm hopeful, but also aware that law enforcement is an extremely competitive career field, so I'm prepared for the worst but hoping for the best.
