Hi folks. Dtamer here. Found this forum through a google search.
I'm a college student in New England, and no, I'm unfortunately not looking to be a LEO. Although I've strongly considered it, after thinking long and hard I came to the conclusion I'm quite frankly not tough enough to handle such a demanding job. Thus the reason I'm now a business major
I am however interested in how law enforcement works and politics in general, so I'm sure I'll be browsing through here pretty frequently.

Hahahaha Yeah, I worked as a lab rat with a degree in molecular biology. If you don't think you are cut out for it, you may be right. Just never sell yoruself short because of some silly misconception or what others tell you.

Thanks for the welcomes guys!
My decision is not based on anything others have told me. I decided I didn't want to be in LE because I think that if I were to go into LE it would be a street job or perhaps detective, something along those lines. The problem is I expect with such a job I would be dealing with crazy people, horribly injured people, dead people, etc... and that's not something I could stomach for very long. I admire you guys very much for dealing with horrible situations and the dregs of society.
