He is also famous! He has been on tv and in the movies.

Thanks everyone. This has been a busy week. Today my family
and I went up to the N Ga. mountains for some apples. We had
started out on this same trip last week when we were interrupted.
As Norm told you I am a retired Cobb County Police Officer. I worked for
25 years until some medical conditions forced me to retire before
I really wanted to. My career spanned working Uniform Patrol,
motorcycle patrol,Crimes against Children. My real love however was Narcotics and Organized Crime units. I spent over 10 years in those units, first as an agent, then as Sergeant.
I got into acting mainly as something to do while I was recovering from
shoulder surgery(rotator cuff replacement).
I took some acting classes and was signed by an agency here in Atlanta.
I did some commercials, TV(Good Eats) and some short and feature films.
I just recently had to stop "retire" from acting because of the osteo-arthritis
in both ankles. I met alot of very nice people and believe me acting turned
out to be much harder than I thought it would be.
I met Norm on the GEFP web site. I normally don't post very much, but I
really enjoyed reading Norm's posts on the GEFP. By the way Norm I'm using
a Colt.357 while the PD is running ballistics on my Glock.
I carry my Dept. back-up weapon which they give you when you retire which
is a Glock.25. Its a nice weapon, but I have always liked "wheel" guns.
Well, I have talked way too much. Thanks for the welcome and I know I'll really like this site. Thank you Norm for recommending it to me.
