    New from New York

    I've been reading up here for a couple of months. I'm going to apply to take a few exams here in NY, and like everyone else, I always have questions.

    My background is pretty clean, other than having about 7 jobs in the past 10 years, although I have explanations for leaving all of them.

    I have a bachelors degree in criminal justice and about 1 1/2 years of Law school education.

    I had always wanted to go into LE but was unable to do so because of a hearing disability. But thanks to new procedures, I will be able to gain normal hearing.

    I look forward to anyone's advice and answers to questions.
