Thought I'd introduce myself. Currently living with my brother who is an LEO, as is my next door neighbor and two very close friends. Applied to my brother and neighbors (same) department, but was turned down (but encouraged to request a re-open of my application in a few months). Yep, I get the picture. Decided that my past does is not "ideally" conducive to securing a career in LE and have fully accepted that. Simply didn't hurt to at least try.
Anyhow, I enjoy this forum immensely and once in a while I can relate to some of you. Even more fun when I get a chuckle out of some of the funny stuff you guys post.
Lastly, I want to personally thank all of you LEO's who go out there every day and risk your lives for the betterment of your communities.

Well, I didn't give up. Bi called me a few days ago. Apparently I'm not dq'd and I'm back in the process. Medical in a Month or so.
