    nyc doc academy january 2008

    hi. glad to find this site. it has good information and conversations.

    I am hired for the january 7 ems fdny academy but i am waiting to hear from nyc doc for the january 3 academy. I have completed EVERYTHING!!X!!

    has anyone been contacted or heard if it is postponed?

    update

    had trouble with my log in so i had to reregister...so i went from sofocused to sofocused2.

    anyway, I found out the academy start date for dept. of corrections nyc is changed from january 3, 2008 to january 17, 2008.

    well, that may answer why I havent gotten a call yet, and that is great news....I WANT THIS JOB!!!

    but, also means more waiting. anticipation. good things come to those who wait.

    ehhhhh i wouldnt be too excited to take a job where i deal with perps and dont have a gun :confused:

    NYC Dept of Corrections Jan 17 class

    I have done everything except FS and Physical Agilty. Has anyone compleated those two things for the Jan 17 NYC DOC Academy. I was wondering if there is still time for me to get in?
