Hi everyone,
I'm new here and I'm waiting for my "verified" status. I would like to thank coucousis for taking the time to verify me.
I'm a Court Officer (Special Constable) with the Toronto Police Service, assigned to Old City Hall (the biggest and busiest in the city).
We (Court Services) are responsible for transporting prisoners from the arresting division, taking them to court and transporting them to the area jails while they await trial (in a nutshell, although there's much more to the job).
I've been on the job almost a year now and I hope to move up to police constable within the next year or so. I also a member of the Chief's Ceremonial Unit and will be attending the National Peace and Police Officer's Memorial in Ottawa later this month.
I look forward to getting to know all of you.
