Well, it must be the week for Aussie police to join
I am a Senior Constable with the NSW police, I have 6 years experience. I was one of the old age pensioner joinees. I started in the cops aged 38 (hence the nickname cavey that was given to me at the academy)
I would like to correspond with some police from anywhere

Gday Cavey,you werent that old at 38, I am 40 and still waiting to go to the Academy
The way things are going with the freeze at the academy untill May, I will be 41.

Thanks for the replys. I am working in a suburb of Sydney called Merrylands (just near Parramatta)which is the geographic center of Sydney. We have the usual crime problems break & enters, Domestics, MVA's and so on.
