G'day Kazz. Wont hold it against you for being a mexican. I married one myself. Im also sworn as a special constable in Vic from when I worked on the border. I also got your email.

Yes, we "mexicans" don't refer to ourselves as that, in fact I doubt many of us know you lot call us that!!
No good women in your part of the world you had to pillage from us?? :p

Welcome from Arizona!
Thanks mate, I'll be invading your State in September to see a friend in Glendale and then off to see one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World
I must remember to drive on the right ~ but I should take advantage of this forum and organise contacts for bail in case I stray onto the left. :p
Hello Sgt
From a little bit closer then everyone else. Glad to have a TOG supervisor on board.
"Sure I can give you a warning, Do it again and I'll give you another ticket."
blah blah blah . . . .it's 25 & sunny today, that's Celsius fellas = 77 Fahrenheit. The pics were taken down the road, I live about 4 kms from the beach. The bathing boxes are located at Brighton Beach.
I've spent many an enjoyable day in South Oz, a very nice relaxing State, only a day's drive west. I recall visiting many moons ago when the Sth Oz cops had their pistol holsters inside the pants pocket so you couldn't see the firearm.
And really, the GP is over rated. I work the traffic one side of the track every year, it's in my patch and is only good for eye strain watching all the . . . hmmm..I can see myself digging a hole here mate . . I think I'll quit while I'm ahead. :p
Actually I spent about 3 and a half years in Melbourne (in the Army). Ironically I worked in a building on St Kilda Road opposite the Shrine, just down the road from Vic Barracks. When I went to the GP last year, my wife booked the accommodation. We ended up staying in the same building I used to work in, only now it is a flash apartment block. Funny I don't remember the valet parking from when i worked there!!!
I am a real petrol head and love the GP (so does my wife). I went a few times in SA and have been a few times in Melbourne. In reality both are as good as each other, and both as damn expensive!!! Have to wait until I can grow another kidney and sell it on the black market until I go again. The eye candy is nice too, but i am strictly there for the cars. :p
I used to live in Port Melbourne, as well as both Broady Barracks and Watsonia. Have a cousin that lives near the Queen Vic markets that I visit occasionally. And an uncle in Keilor that I haven't seen for ages.
My last station in SAPOL was at Millicent, near Mt Gambier in the South East of SA. We were close to the border and used to go over to Melbourne more than Adelaide.
My wife and I used to holiday every 6 months or so for a long weekend at Halls Gap at this real nice couples getaway. Hmmmm.... good times.
A fellow Sgt who I worked with for 10 years, retired last October, once got promoted to the Shrine Guard, back when they were police. He was ex-UK navy, a submariner. But he didn't like being a Sgt and reverted back to work at the Traffic Ops Group. Now they're PSOs, cost a lot less. *sigh* They wear the uniform on the Light Horse on special occasions, like ANZAC day, they look brilliant.
Lots of the area is being converted into apartments and Port Melbourne is being re-developed, all the old crims are slowly dying off and yuppies are taking over.
I wonder with the draught if the Blue Lake is still full??
I'm pleased you spent your hard earns here, helping our ecconomy![]()
I remember going to work one day when I lived at Port Melbourne and the road was blocked not far from my house. Got to work and found out that one of the gang bosses had been executed down the road from my house over night. Shot in his car. Can't remember who it was now, but saw some footage of it the other night when Williams plead guilty to murder for his involvement. Oh well boo hoo!!
:p :D
