Hello from Orlando, Fl, I work as a Juvenile Detention Officer its fun but not what i really want to do with my life. I just turned 21 so I am getting my apps ready to send in to police agencies. Still in school working toward my BS in Criminal Justice. When I am not working I love riding my motorcycle, playing with my animals, playing ultimate Frisbee, and tinkering with stuff.
I am looking forward just hanging around these forums and picking up on alot of Law Enforcement information

Welcome aboard, and yes this is one of the best tools out there for decision making. There are ride a longs, and talking to officers but reading the information is great. I am greatful to all who post and greatful to the ones who have created this site. One can learn from other's experiences in the hiring process, some laws and regulations, on the job experiences, stories and ideas, to even messages from spouses and family. I am not in the hiring process yet(swimming class first- once strong, take all tests and than apply -Sou Fl res also), I come in here everyday and read read read, not to mention I also read from American Police Beat. It is the best move to rummage through here before doing anything. Welcome aboard, enjoy yourself, learn as much as you can, ask questions and again enjoy.
