Hello All,
I'm so excited about taking the Civil Service Exam in the next couple of months I signed up for this forum and started posting my questions and forgot to say hello sorry! - So Hello!!
I'm 23 have a wife and kid and have been in I.T. for about 9 years - I have family in the Military and in the NYPD and I've always wanted to be a cop. I figured now its the time and jumped for it. Eventually I'd like to join the State POlice here in MA.

i'm taking the civil service exam on 5/19 also. good luck. i heard bpd is looking to bring on another 80 shortly......get a stupid ANSI.

i've posted the details for the MA CSE on the police employment threads. There are several studying resources out there that can help you with studying for the civil service exam. i.e Peterson's, Barron's, etc.. if you google em' you can find them and buy them on line. Or, you can actually run to a bookstore like B's&N and grab one off the shelf. Originally Posted by normal1
