Hi all,
Although I am British at the moment, I will be emigrating to the US around June/July this year when my Green Card comes through (applied back in August just after getting married to my American wifey :D )
I am very interested in Law Enforcement and the military, and am currently considering the USCG (as BM or OS), the US Army (as 31E), USMC (as 5831), and the Colorado National Guard (from my wife's home state, as a way to get my masters and do some training on the side). In any case the fast track to Citizenship which the military gives me will help out a lot.
In terms of age and education, I am currently 23, and have a Bachelor's in Engineering. Have been working for my Dad's Engineering Consultancy over here in the UK whilst I figure out what career path I want to take.
My goal is to either do a full 20 year career in the military, or do several years and eventually go into local or Federal LE.
I've already found a lot of useful information on this site, and look forward to finding out more about my options!

Meh, it's not a good time to be here right now anyway - a lot of internal issues with the Chief at the moment. Hopefully she'll be gone soon and we can begin process to fix everything she buggered up. It's going to take many a year.
