I have lived in Scottsdale for the last 15 years and I am a junior at Arizona State University majoring in Justice Studies with a minor in Communication. I hope to start the hiring process sometime next summer after graduating. I am planning on getting an internship this summer and next fall with one of the local departments. Interviews are on March 7 and i'm getting kinda nervous about them. Any other Arizona people on here starting the hiring process anytime soon?

Just got the word that i'm starting the Citizens Police Acadamy with the Gilbert Police Department next Wed. I also am in contact with the volunteer departments with Gilbert and Tempe police and plan on starting that in the next few weeks.

Also if you go out at around 12-1pm during the middle of the summer the black asphalt is so hot that it's damn near impossible to walk on it bare foot and you can literally cook an egg on it. Trust me I did it back when I was a kid and it works. After living in Phoenix for over 16 years I guess you just get used to it. Only thing that sucks is my blood is so thin now that everything is cold to me.
