Just figured I would check in, I graduate in May with a Legal Psych. BS. I am currently looking and have applied at a couple of agencies. Kansas City, Kansas police has really caught my eye, anyone have any experience with them? The info is greatly appreciated.

Used to be that KCK paid quite a bit less than the surrounding agencies.
Might do some shopping around.
Make sure that you pick an agency with KP&F retirement plan.
KPERS SUCKS.On a clear night, I can see the other deputies emergency lights at least 10 miles away.
But it isnt flat here LOL

Thanks for the welcome, actually KCK is the best paying right now in the area, but I am sure a couple of years ago you were right, seems like some things have changed from what little I have read about the department. Any other info is appreciated, thanks again.
