Hello everyone. I am a full time warehouse worker. I am trying to become a reserve sheriff's deputy for my county. Any advice? I just turned in an application, for references I listed three of my friends who happen to be cops in various departments.
If accepted I would have to buy my own gear. Expensive, but it is a sacrifice I am willing to make. I really think I would enjoy it, and if I do might consider trying to get hired on full time in the future.
I realize most cops don't get the recognition they deserve, so here's a THANK YOU, what you do is important and I appreciate it.
