Thank you for the opportunity to join this forum. I am 20 years old. I really look foward to my career in LE and I know this is the forum to get me on my feet. My plans are to start off in the police reserve by october of 2007. Soon after I want to become a full time officer. I would like to use the reserves to gain experience. There are several reasons why I would like to join law enforcement. First off, I love doing work in the community. My church goes out and visits people sometims at their homes, or community centers. I have been able to develope bonds with people in the community by rendering services. An example is stopping on the side of the road to help someone with a flat tire. It is mainly a desire to make the community better. Thats when I asked myself, is there something more I could do? Then came the dream of becoming a law enforcement officer. I have had this dream for sometime and I will make it a reality. I will protect and serve.
