My name is Rick, I am 34 and I will be testing (written and PT) for the Academy near St. Louis beginning Sept. 7th. I will be sponsoring myself through.
Thanks to the Admin. for having such a great and informative site!! I have read through 28 pages (so far) of Background Checks/Hiring Process and the info is invaluable. You will not see me asking "Do you think I can get in?" or "I stole some money when I was a kid. Will that automatically DQ me?" Research and reading has been great fun.
Hopefully the next time I post will be when I pass the PT and written.
