We had our graduation for the auxillary class last night. I ended up with the second place award in academics which shocked me since I haven't been in a class room in 11 years.
The class is regional and there were new auxillary/part time II officers from the local SO as well as several Police Departments. The department I am going to work for had me and two other officers in the class. We got the first, second, and third place academic awards as well as the officer who won third place also won 1'st place shooter. The Chief seemed pretty happy with that.
