Thanks for the warm welcome Mr. Skookum, for a second dare I tawt yer gittin yer tuque in a twist. I'll be sure to save my Canadian quarters (AMERICAN NICKLES) for you--buy yourself a doubledouble...;)
Edit/Add:
Just joking about the Canadians, the people are good and the country is beautiful. When I get kicked out of America--that's where I'm going! Probably shouldn't have warned them though...now they'll really be watching the borders!

1. Vegemtie is not a food. It is used to grease nipples. (and of course I mean that in a mechanical sense). You're friend was having a lend of you.
2. What the hell was a Kiwi doing sending you Vegemite, or were they living in Bondi on Aussie Welfare like about 35% of the New Zealand population.
3. Yes, all Aussies are nuts. Except Oscar Mitre who is the only grown up here in Oz, but watch out he will turn on you if cornered.
4. Fosters is another joke we created to annoy Americans with. We just love hearing them ordering it at a bar. Immediately they are recognised as Americans and it is one way we can tell them from the Canadians. That and the loud shirts, loud shorts, bad hats, and loud voices.
Now I must go and hunt a few hoop snakes out of my front yard as they are scaring the drop bears away. :D :D

1. This stuff was meant to be eaten--some sort of foul smelling yeasty goop. She called it a 'dietary supplement/aid', yep that would certainly help my diet...the thought of eating it put me right off food. Period! I'm sure we eat some foods here that you wonder about too. (I can send you some White Castle Burgers--you'll understand. Some of us actually think of them as a delicacy!)Originally Posted by Aussie George

3. OOOhhh. Yes indeed, the moderators on this forum are good aren't they? Honestly--this forum is used as a comparison to for other forums as far as the integrity of the membership and the way in which the forum is run.
4. Can't help but laugh.....you're so right. Sandals and black socks...camera's and zinc-oxide on their noses, crass and oblivious. Yep-that's an American! If nothing else--we offer comic relief.
You be careful out there......I've heard that those didgeridoos are positively dangerous!

Oh, the currency difference is roughly 10% now. That would equal American dimes. But I never let the facts get in the way of one's creative fiction.;)

Taylor isn't as bad as it's reputation, my Dad retired from the PD there, my brother was an officer until he finished law school and my cousin also retired from the TPD....so I guess I'm a little impartial.
I love to bowl--unfortunately I have no talent or ability. It was great to take the kids when they were younger--those bumpers were great for my average.....but now that they're older and don't need/use them, they beat me all the time! :D
Well, all I know is that it is on Eureka (sp), I think. I am not sure. We take 75, down to Eureka, and then head West, cross Telegraph and it magically shows up. Taylor Lanes is the name of it I think. Nice lanes, and cute help if you know what I mean. ;) It is set back from the road a bit, but I never drive there so I do not know the cross streets.
If you saw the PBA Tour out there last May then we are thinking of the same place.
