I just found this place this morning and I'm very impressed. It seems like a wonderful forum.
I know this is in my profile but here is some stuff about me. I live in the hills of South Tennessee on a 43 acre farm between Knoxville and Chattanooga. My hobbies include shooting at the indoor range, riding a Trek mountain bike and enjoying my watergarden. I've been involved with firearms since I was 12 and currently carry a Taurus .357 Magnum snubby revolver. My other carry gun is a .380 semi-auto. I'm not in law enforcement but my sister is and she would love this place. I have a very good but demanding job and hope to retire by the time I'm 55. My two favorite forums are a very well know political forum and a watergarden forum. This one will make number three.

My husband gave me the Taurus for Christmas this year and had doubts that I would be able to shoot it because I'm not very big, but I surprised him. He made me load it with .38 Special shells the first time and they were nothing so I made him give me the big stuff. The gun is extremely light and the barrel is only 2" so he figured it would land somewhere behind me. It was a cadillac to shoot though. I keep the semi-auto in my truck and carry the Taurus. The semi-auto has sentimental value to me because it's the one I qualified with but I like the revolver much better as a carry gun.
